No signal = no electronic ticket
The fantastic performance of the bands earned them all 5 Stars. Due to Electronic Ticket failure, the overall rating received lower stars. Our tickets were accessed through the Live Nation mobile app to enter the venue, but no printed proof of our seats was provided at the ticket gate after our phones were scanned. At Sprint Center and Arrowhead, we had always received small printed seat verification. There was ZERO reception for my girlfriend and me once inside the gate. We first went to the restroom (thankfully) and then tried to find our seats. Despite my good memory for Sect/row/seats, there was a moment of hesitation from the security guy at the reserved section when I showed him my app with no signal and no ticket information. Eventually, he allowed us through, knowing the appropriate #s. Upon reaching our seats, my girlfriend hesitated to leave for fear of not being allowed in again. This hesitation meant we did not get concessions (she typically has a beer or two) and did not attempt to locate acquaintances in different sections during the set change, or revisit the restrooms. Improving cell reception at this venue is necessary (not TicketMasters fault), but providing a small printed stub when scanning electronic tickets is something TM/LiveNation can do. We felt confined, unable to move once inside.
